In previous years, students have traveled to Detroit or other local areas for Journal-related work or events.
Students should work to arrange transportation in the following order:
1) The University offers rental vehicles through the Logistics, Transportation & Parking office which can be used by Sponsored Student Orgs. A valid driver's license is required to be approved for a rental. Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible.
2) If a fleet vehicle is unavailable through the Logistics, Transportation & Parking office, Journal members are encouraged to rent a vehicle through National/Enterprise rental agency, as the University has a contract for discounted rates.
3) If a vehicle isn't available through either of the above options, personal vehicles may be used, and the mileage may be submitted for reimbursement.
If you plan to host a Symposia (whether in person or virtual), you must submit an application.
Be sure to pay attention to the Law School's Deadlines for Symposia Applications.
