Available Exams
There are two types of University of Michigan Law School exams available:
- Exams that a professor has put on reserve for his or her class for the term. You can find these on the Reserve list for that course by searching the Electronic Reserve system by Professor or Course.
- Exams that have been sent to the Library to be permanently available. These can also be found by searching in the Electronic Reserve system by Professor or Course and will have the word "Exams" at the end of the Course name. Note: these exams are also available in paper.
To view the electronic versions, Law Students will need to use their UMID number to login.
Searching by Course Name
When searching for electronic reserves and exams by course name use either the course number (e.g. law 580) or the beginning or all of the
course name (e.g. Constitutional or Constitutionalism in South Africa).
If multiple professors are teaching the course this term, each
professor's list will appear in the results list.
Electronic
exams will have a separate reserve list with "exams" added to the course
name (e.g. "Constitutional Law Exams"). Exams listed on this record
are those submitted for permanent retention. Professors may also put
exams and model answers on their course reserve lists for that semester.
Searching by Professor
When searching for electronic reserves and exams by professor type in
the professors name, last name first. Each of the professor's reserve
lists will appear in the results list.
Electronic exams will
have a separate reserve list with "exams" added to the course name (e.g.
"Constitutional Law Exams"). Exams listed on this record are those
submitted for permanent retention. Professors may also put exams and
model answers on their course reserve lists for that semester.
